MINNEAPOLIS, August 2, 2013 – John Marschhausen, PhD, a graduate of Capella University (www.capella.edu), an accredited online university* that has built its reputation by providing high quality online degree programs, has been named superintendent of the Hilliard City School District in suburban Columbus, Ohio. As the 9th largest school district in the state of Ohio, the Hilliard City School District serves more than 15,700 students in grades K-12, through three high schools, three middle schools, two sixth-grade schools and 14 elementary schools. It has achieved the #1 ranking from the Ohio Department of Education in value-added performance leading to student success.
Marschhausen earned a PhD in Education with a specialization in Leadership in Educational Administration from Capella University.
