The awards honor those who design and develop exciting and innovative courses that represent the best in technology and learning.
The courses, Public Service Leadership and Mental Health Counseling Pre-Practicum, were selected as technologically rich, engaging, well-designed, and pedagogically sound courses that showcase best practices for the Blackboard user community.

The Exemplary Course awards, a category of the Blackboard Catalyst Awards, specifically recognize Capella's attention to creating courses that emphasize authentic, case-based practice and assessment, as well as a multidisciplinary approach. Representatives of Capella have been invited to be recognized at BbWorld®, Blackboard's annual user conference, to be held this July in New Orleans, Louisiana.
